Amazingly Good Eggnog

Ingredients

• 4 cups milk
• 5 whole cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 12 egg yolks
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 1/2 cups light rum
• 4 cups light cream
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

1. Combine milk, cloves, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and cinnamon in a saucepan, and heat over lowest setting for 5 minutes. Slowly bring milk mixture to a boil.
2. In a large bowl, combine egg yolks and sugar. Whisk together until fluffy. Whisk hot milk mixture slowly into the eggs. Pour mixture into saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes, or until thick. Do not allow mixture to boil. Strain to remove cloves, and let cool for about an hour.
3. Stir in rum, cream, 2 teaspoon vanilla, and nutmeg. Refrigerate overnight before serving.

One important member of the Kardashians is reportedly rooting for Kim Kardashian to be Kanye West’s girlfriend. According to Hollywood Life, the family’s matriarch, Kris Jenner, is urging the estranged wife of Kris Humphries to date the “All of the Lights” rapper.

Another rapper has lost his life because of a gun violence. Slim Dunkin, a 24-year-old MC who was featured heavily on Waka Flocka Flame’s mixtapes, was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, December 16 after being gunned down at a recording studio.

Maj. Keith Meadows of the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to The Associated Press that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was fatally shot in the chest at around 5:30 P.M. after he got involved in a verbal altercation with another individual. “It appears the victim was scheduled to do a photo shoot,” he first stated.

Meadows continued on to dish, “Before the video shoot took place, it appears the victim and suspect got involved in a verbal altercation. We don’t know what that altercation was about.” he added, “The suspect produced a weapon, discharged that handgun one time, striking the victim in the chest.”

Police are still trying to identify the shooter and have not recovered the smoking handgun. According to Meadows, there were 13 to 20 people in the small office-type building at the time of the shooting, but they were in different places. He said, “We’ve questioned a number of witnesses inside the recording studio at this time.”

Kobe Bryant’s Wife Files for Divorce

Kobe Bryant, it seems, is soon to be a free agent.

The Los Angeles Lakers star’s wife of 10 years, Vanessa, filed for divorce Friday in Orange County, Calif., a source confirms to PEOPLE. Vanessa cites irreconcilable differences, and is seeking spousal support and shared custody of their two daughters, Natalia Diamante Bryant, 8, and Gianna Maria-Onore, 5.

Bryant, 33, and his soon-to-be ex-wife, 29, married in April 2001, when Bryant was just 22 and she was 18.

The couple released a statement to The Insider‘s Kevin Frazier saying, “The couple say “We ask that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season, the public respect our privacy during this most difficult time.”

In 2003, they weathered a public scandal after Bryant was charged with allegedly raping a 19-year-old Colorado resort employee. The charges were eventually dropped after the accuser refused to testify. The case settled out of court.
